How can I pay for my order?
You can use PayPal to pay for your order.
We take your security very seriously and we do not store your payment information. Our website uses SSL (“Secure Socket Layer” technology), the de facto standard for internet security. Therefore your details are safe with us.

When will payment be taken for my order?
Your PayPal account will be charged at the point of sale. If your payment is authorised, payment will be taken immediately, and you will receive an email confirming that your order has been received successfully.

DELIVERY

What are your delivery terms?

UK: £3.95 Standard Next Day* Delivery (UPS) - Free on orders over £30
• Place your order by 8pm Monday to Thursday to get it the next day
• Please allow 1* working day for delivery
• Delivery is Monday to Friday
• A delivery tracking number is included in your order despatch email
Note: Orders placed before 8pm on a Friday will be despatched the same day for delivery on the Monday. Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will be despatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery.

Eire: €4.99 Standard 2 Days Delivery (UPS) - Free on orders over €30
• Please allow 2 working days for delivery
• Delivery is Monday to Friday
• A delivery tracking number is included in your order despatch email
• Place your order by 6pm Monday to Friday to get it despatched the same day
Note: Orders placed before 6pm on a Friday will be despatched the same day for delivery on the Tuesday. Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will be despatched on Monday for Wednesday delivery.

What's the cut-off time for next day delivery in the UK?
In the UK the cut-off time for next day* delivery is 8pm Monday to Thursday. Orders placed before 8pm on a Friday will be despatched the same day for delivery on the Monday. Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will be despatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery.
 *Deliveries to UK remote areas, islands, and offshore including Northern Ireland are 2 days

We don’t currently offer next day to delivery in Eire.

What should I do if my order hasn’t been delivered yet?
Please check the emails you received from supportforthings@premierfarnell.com. The email ‘Your Order Has Been Shipped’ contains a tracking number enabling you to check the progress of your delivery.  If your estimated delivery date has passed and you still haven’t received your order, please email our customer care team at supportforthings@premierfarnell.com so we can investigate further on your behalf

Do you deliver on bank holidays and/or weekends?
No, your order will only be delivered on working days i.e. bank/national holidays are treated the same as a weekend.

I wasn’t available to receive my order, what should I do next?
UPS will attempt to deliver your parcel to the shipping address in the order. If you weren’t available to sign for the order, UPS will leave a card indicating that the package can be collected from the nearest UPS Access Point or instructions on how to re-arrange delivery.

Do you deliver internationally?
Currently we only deliver to the UK and Eire. As we are passionate about the products and services we offer and want to put the latest technology into the hands of our fellow techies we will be extending delivery to more countries as soon as possible.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

How do I return an item?
You can return any unwanted items for a full refund within 14 days of receiving your order, if it has not been opened and is in its original condition. 
If you need to return an item, please email our Customer Care team at returnsforthings@premierfarnell.com to arrange for a return authorisation number (RMA).

Please allow up to 14 days for the return to be processed before receipt of the refund to your PayPal account.

ORDER ISSUES
I have received a faulty item, what should I do?
If you think your product may be faulty, we’ll do our best to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. As soon as you discover a fault, please email our Customer Care team at supportforthings@premierfarnell.com with:
• Email subject ‘Faulty Item’
• The forthings reference number (not the order number)
• The faulty item's name and part number
• A description of the fault
We'll get back to you as soon as we can to establish the cause of the fault and arrange a collection & refund, or repair as appropriate.

I have received an incorrect item in my order, what should I do?
Please email our Customer Care team at supportforthings@premierfarnell.com with:
• Email subject ‘Incorrect Item’
• The forthings reference number (not the order number)
• The incorrect item's name and part number
We'll get back to you as soon as we can to issue you a refund and arrange collection of the wrong item.

An item is missing from my order, what should I do?
We may have sent your items in separate parcels so please check your emails to see if any of your items will be arriving separately.
If your order has been sent in different parcels then each delivery note will tell you the items you can expect to find inside. Please check the delivery notes from each part of your order to make sure you're not missing anything.

If an item is missing, please email our Customer Care team at supportforthings@premierfanell.com with:
• Email subject ‘Missing Item’
• The forthings reference number (not the order number)
• The missing item's name and part number.
We'll get back to you as soon as we can and issue a refund as appropriate.

Can I cancel my order after I’ve placed it?
No, sorry. Once you’ve submitted your order we take payment immediately and commence the despatch process. You can return any unwanted items though within 14 days of receiving them for a full refund, if the item has not been opened and is in its original condition (see - how do I return an item?).

Can I amend an order after I’ve placed it?
We're really quick at processing your order up which means we can't make any changes once you've placed it. This includes changing the items, quantity and delivery address.

Do you do back orders?
No, we do not do back orders. It is only possible to add ‘in stock’ items to the shopping cart.
If due to an unforeseen error (e.g. a warehouse shortage) an item is out of stock after your order is submitted, we’re afraid that any ‘out of stock’ orders will be cancelled and a full refund applied. We pride ourselves on our high service levels though and will aim to replenish any out of stock items as soon as possible.

Why do I have 2 reference numbers (‘forthings reference number’ and ‘your order number’) on the confirmation and shipping confirmations?
The ‘forthings reference number’ is a unique number issued once the stock is allocated to your order. It is the main reference number you should use for any follow up questions you may have concerning your order. The ‘your order number’ is generated to confirm that your order has been successfully submitted.

PROMOTIONS
How do I apply a promotion code to my order?

You need to enter the code exactly as it was given to you, without any spaces. Type or copy & paste the code into the 'Enter Promo Code’ box in the shopping cart and click ‘ENTER’.
When the code has been applied to your order, you'll see the discount amount and the total value of your order in the shopping cart will change to reflect the code.

Why isn't my promotion code working?
Promotional voucher codes will be available for a specific time period. Please check the expiry date and that you’ve entered the code correctly - a common error is an extra space if you're copying & pasting the code.

Can I use more than one promotional code on my order?
No, sorry, only one voucher code can be used per transaction.
